ABOUT SUSAN G. KOMEN FOR THE CURE

Nancy G. Brinker promised her dying sister, Susan G. Komen, she would do everything in her power to end breast cancer forever. In 1982, that promise became Susan G. Komen for the Cure and launched the global breast cancer movement. Today, Komen for the Cure is the world’s largest grassroots network of breast cancer survivors and activists fighting to save lives, empower people, ensure quality care for all and energize science to find the cures. Thanks to events like the Komen Race for the Cure, we have invested nearly $1 billion to fulfill our promise, becoming the largest source of nonprofit funds dedicated to the fight against breast cancer in the world. A message from the employees of L’ORÉAL^® Paris:

Seven years ago, we lost two co- workers to breast cancer. As a team, we felt the loss deeply. Inspired by our colleagues’ courage, we knew that we wanted to do our part to make a difference. We knew we could make a difference by supporting the Susan G. Komen Breast Cancer Foundation. We are proud to present our 7th Annual “Because Your Dog is Worth it Too” Day. We would like to thank all of our attendees, volunteers, and dog community vendors that have helped us in support of this cause. To date, we have raised over $400,000 for the Susan G. Komen for the Cure Central and South Jersey affiliate. Most of those proceeds are a result of this “fun and whacky” dog/owner event that couples two different causes into one great experience. Thank you very much for being a part of this special day and sharing our commitment in support of this cause.
